It was seen everywhere which led to a lot of people highly disagreeing with the font. However, because of its oozing popularity, it became too present. This is the same as bug 8089900, but I have more information as I have a font that reproduces the issue and have discovered its intermittent issue. It is always resolved by restoring stand fonts in Font Book (File->Restore Standard Fonts). We've received lots of reports of this issue.
